Fairground

Our long-standing affiliation with the fairground and theme park sector stems right back to the early 1980's.
This has sometimes involved close co-operation with major Theme parks to provide solutions to often very unique and demanding applications where safety and reliability is paramount and rugged and robust designs to cater for sometimes very demanding operating conditions.  Recent examples of slip rings provided for popular rides include The Gangsta Granny ride at Alton Towers and regular support to Fantasy Island in the UK.

We also have an extensive range / back catalogue of parts we have supplied over the years to more traditional static and traveling fairgrounds, providing an array of products that often require rapid turnaround. These products are often found on Merry-go-rounds, Waltzers, Ferris wheels and Rollercoasters.  In order to assist with the speedy turnaround, many standard slip ring and brush holder units can be found on our webshop.

The range of applications often surprises us with our slip rings most often being used for powering light effects, motors and sensors as well as transmitting data to provide information on ride position by means of inbuilt encoders in our slip ring units.
