With increased reliance from our customers for proven expertise, and with products tested to increasingly rigorous standards and at more arduous conditions -  BGB has expanded its testing and development capabilities as part of its commitment to operational excellence across the business.

We encourage customers, trusted suppliers and partners to witness test components and products to qualify materials, design concepts and foster positive collaborative engagement with the design and engineering teams through shared common goal of designing in safety, reliability, circularity and future-proofing our products.

With over 100 years combined experience of testing expertise and prototyping experience in our Test and Development laboratories across a number of industry sectors, we are capable of designing and implementing bespoke test programmes, providing expert data analysis and provide industry standard reports with insights for our customers.

With multiple state-of-the-art, fully programmable, environmentally controlled test cells, we are able to test and validate the performance of our developing products under real-life simulated conditions and often some very unique extremes.

Typical testing may include but not limited to;- dynamic duty cycle testing, electrical stress testing, thermal characterisation, durability and data transmission tests. Where necessary, we also partner external laboratories for specialised test requirements.

With increasing focus on circularity from our customers and the expansion of BGB’s repair and refurbishment service, we are increasingly able to benchmark, test and evaluate our aftermarket retrofit upgrade solutions for a variety of competitors' products.
