The Problem
ENA were repairing slip rings as a service offering, but due to parts availability and minimal testing, their capabilities were limited, and were not able to fully support their customers. Many units were returned unrepaired and their customers had to purchase new products from the OEM.

We wanted to offer a replacement or new unit to our customers that ship in slip rings for repair. The Future
Customers are happy the units are low maintenance and expected to last longer than the OEM product. Their technicians do not need to maintain the units and can focus on other maintenance issues.
ENA has been able to focus technicians on other projects so they do not have to develop a new procedure for slip rings. “Our technicians do not need to spend time sourcing parts, repairing units and developing test procedures.
