Level 1 'Routes to Employability' student, Jake Cleary (17) enjoyed his weeks' work experience with BGB so much that he wrote a charming thank you letter, here's what he said (we asked him whether he minded us sharing):
"I really enjoyed my week at BGB, it wasn’t what I was expecting at first as I thought it was going to be much more complex but found that I settled in really well. Everyone who works there are easy to talk to if I needed any help, advice or just for a chat, everyone treated me with respect. I was told what to do if I finished a task meaning I wasn’t standing around not doing anything. This has helped me realise this is the place I want to work to help my career in engineering, this is now possible as I learned new skills and worked with new equipment, the teams in the different areas were always willing to help, along with Nathan if I need anything. I would recommend this work experience to anyone who has an interest in engineering. I really enjoyed it."
