SILS First Sea Trial

SILS First Sea Trial

Friday, 10 November 2017

As the BGB Group develop new innovative technologies and engineering solutions to industries around the world, a genuine moment to savour in BGB history as the first sea ready inductive light units are fitted to one of our donor boats in Club de Mar, Mallorca. A massive congratulations to all the team who have been involved with SILS and a big step forward to a 2018 release.

A big thank you to Grant for the use of his wonderful Sunseeker yacht, he also had this to say..."Having seen all the plans, it was exciting to witness Maverick Evolution launched for the first time with the lights fitted. As soon as they were switched on, the colours and intensity exceeded all of my expectations. The SILS team have been a pleasure to work with and the results of their expertise and professionalism are clear to see."  Grant Slacke, Maverick Evolution owner. Palma, Mallorca.

SILS (Submersible Inductive Lighting System), uses induction contactless technology to power LEDs within the light. This means that no drilling or penetration of the vessel's hull is required; a world's first in the marine industry!  Learn more by visiting www.bgbsils.com
