Who is Tim Bidie?
"I am an
experienced general manager and international business development leader
with business planning and administrative experience in both public and private
sectors. I have developed extensive overseas connections in the Arabian
Gulf, Africa and Eastern Europe from over 30 years in the defence
I have worked
for the Defence Evaluation Research Agency, BAE Land Systems, Alenia Marconi
Systems (AMS) and Systematic Software Engineering A/S. I set up an overseas
office for AMS Plc and an overseas branch for Systematic, both in Abu Dhabi,
United Arab Emirates. I served with the British Army in Germany, Cyprus,
Zimbabwe and Iraq and served with The Sultan of Oman's Armoured Regiment in
to what I plan to bring to BGB, an opportunity now exists for BGB to leverage
its position as the United Kingdom’s premier exporting rotary interface
manufacturer and grow both its market share & revenue by offering rotary
interface defence solutions.
I intend to
analyse the rotary interface defence sales market, including new program
opportunities and market requirements in the United Kingdom, Europe, Far East,
Middle East and Africa and draft a 5 year defence sales and marketing plan. I have a
great number of contacts and connections within various defence companies
including Harris Corporation, BAE Systems, GDELS, FNSS, Patria, Nexter, Airbus
helicopters and others, many of whom will, I am sure, have a great deal of
interest in the BGB Innovation product offering."
