Number of rings
Number of gland entries (for terminating into the brush gear)
Top or bottom entry (for cables terminating into the slip ring)
Whether the unit needs to be WIMES compliant (new sites will need to adhere to WIMES)
If any rings are required to be gold or silver plated for control or monitoring
