BGB Reveal New Data Transmission Systems

Monday, 22 May 2017
BGB's new capacitive range - Capacilinc, is a selection of contactless data transmission systems for use within any hi-tech industry. The range of capacitive and FORJ (Fibre Optic Rotary Joint) systems have been extended to enhance BGB's highly innovative range of rotary power and data systems.
Because pitch slip ring systems are unable to consistently maintain high data transfer rates without any interruptions, BGB has developed capacitive, contactless rotary joints which allow maintenance-free data transfer that reliably transmit up to 1 Gbit/s of Ethernet data.
"The new range offers our customers the very best in modern
technology and keeps them at the forefront of the latest innovative systems. In
conjunction with our contacting systems and hydraulic joints we can now offer
customers a more diverse package solution to tomorrows challenging
applications.
Our
Capacilinc units use the latest IRT capacitive technology and can host a number
of different protocols out of the box, optical units up to 52 channels offer an
alternative option in both single and multimode versions. These options are all
tested to 200 million revolutions and offer zero packet losses in terms of data
transfer." said Chris Richards, Sales & Marketing Director.
